Some people have given up the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting closer. Hebrews 10:25 (CEV)
We can have some long-term relationships with deep roots of friendship. Some of our relationships need to be cut away. But we also need to make room for growing new relationships. These types of relationships help us to learn and grow in new ways. We could learn more about ourselves or how to interact with different types of people. God could use us to help the other person grow or God could use them to help us remove things from our lives preventing us from reaching God’s best for our lives. We need to continue to grow new relationships.
Prayer: God, thank you for creating me for relationship with you and others. Lead me to the new relationships I need to initiate in my life. Open the door for us to establish the kind of relationship that will help us grow to become more like you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
