The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Come, follow me.” Philip was from Bethsaida, Andrew and Peter’s hometown. Philip went to look for Nathanael and told him, “We have found the very person Moses and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth.” “Nazareth!” exclaimed Nathanael. “Can anything good come from Nazareth?” “Come and see for yourself,” Philip replied. John 1:43-46 (NLT)
As Christians, we have access to the solution for the various problems people face. We can introduce them to the One who created them and knows everything they need even before they know they need it. In many cases, he has helped through struggles we have faced in our past. Most importantly, he made a way that we could spend eternity with him. But they don’t know we have the answer to their problems unless we tell them. Invite them to meet the Savior of the world.
Prayer: God, thank you for the gift of salvation. Bring people across my path today that I can invite to learn about the good news of the gospel. Help me to be aware of them in my path and have the boldness to speak to them. In Jesus name. Amen.
