Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1 (NIV)
We all have areas where we have more to learn. We can take the time and try to learn on our own or we can find others who already know how to do it. We can find individuals to mentor us. We can read books written by those who know about the area we need to grow in. We can read the Bible and learn about the example Jesus provided for us. We can also be an example for those who need our help. We may not know everything, but we can learn by example.
Prayer:
God, thank you for reminding me of the example others can leave for me. Help me to know the people you have placed in my life for an example to follow and those I can be an example to. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
