When things are not going the way you planned, it’s easy to focus on the here and now. We can get wrapped up in the small details. We look at the things that are happening today and tend to make a decision that works for the moment. The better approach is to focus on the long-term. We can seek God’s guidance to help us make decisions that will help us reap a harvest of blessings. Then we need to keep sowing the seeds of what we want to grow. Focus on the long-term. The harvest is worth the wait.
Prayer:
God, thank you for the law of planting and harvesting. I want to plant what is good so I can harvest your blessings. Help me not to give up. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
