During our life we are each blessed with a way to earn money. God placed in us skills and talents we can use to earn a living to take care of our family. Many times we don’t think about how we are spending the resources God blesses us with. We take care of our needs and wants without a real plan of what we should be doing with God’s resources (it’s really His money that we are managing while we are here on earth – Psalm 24:1).
When we make a plan and diligently follow it, we will be in a better financial position. We can be prepared when trouble comes so that we are not as deeply affected as we could have been. By including God in our planning, He can help us prepare for the unknown troubles ahead. He can also show us who we can be a blessing to, and in return, He will bless us. It all starts with a plan.
