He replied, “As soon as you enter Jerusalem, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him. At the house he enters, say to the owner, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?’ He will take you upstairs to a large room that is already set up. That is where you should prepare our meal.” They went off to the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover meal there. Luke 22:10-13 (NLT)
There’s a simple lesson to be learned from the scripture above. When you obey Jesus (obey what the Bible is instructing you to do), you will find that everything will be just as the Bible said. The enemy (devil) will try to persuade you to believe that the Bible isn’t true. He (the enemy) will try to convince you to focus on what you see instead of on what God has already said about you in the Bible. Don’t believe the enemy. If the Bible says that you will achieve a certain outcome, you’ll find that things will unfold just as the Bible said. Now, it may not occur when or how you are expecting, but God’s Word is true and dependable.
