Permanent Change

Permanent Change

When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. . .Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Christ, who was yet to come. . .Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. Romans 5:12,14,18 (NLT)

Imagine a glass of white milk. It remains pure until someone adds one drop of chocolate syrup into the milk. From that point on, no matter how pure it looks, it will remain tainted with chocolate. Adam opened the door of sin into the world. Each of us are born with a sin nature. No matter how good we are, we will remain tainted with sin on our own. God made a way for us to be cleansed. Jesus shed his blood on the cross as a permanent solution for our sin.

Prayer: God, I’m sorry for the sins of my past. Thank you for sending your Son to die on the cross, so I can enter into a relationship with you. I believe He died for me so that I can be saved. I accept Him as my Lord and Savior. Thank you Jesus for being the Lord of my life. In your name. Amen.
