Plant in Faith

“Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, BUT they sing as they return with the harvest.” Psalm 126:5-6 (NLT)

As farmers plant their seeds, they know in advance that some of them may not grow. But that does not cause them to give up because they also know that many will grow. At times, the seeds God asks us to sow may bring us to the point of tears. He may ask us to sow something that is very close to our heart, such as giving a person in need our favorite coat or trusting Him by moving to a new place without having all of the details. In all of these cases, God already knows the harvest He has in store for us.

Prayer:
God, thank you for helping me grow as I continue to sow the seeds you have blessed me with. Thank you for reminding me that you already know the harvest for the seeds I plant. I trust in you and your plans for the harvest. I will sow what you tell me, even if it seems hard. Thank you for your plans for me. In Jesus name, Amen.
