Every day we have a choice of how we want to interact with others. We can choose to look at other people as if they are out to get us. We can view everyone as the worst version of themselves. We can live life thinking that everyone is against us. In contrast, we can view everyone with the understanding that we all make mistakes but know that God loves them and us anyway. We can live life thinking that God is for us – so who can be against us? We can choose to tear our relationships down or choose to restore and build them back up.
Prayer: God, thank you that you see me through the eyes of love. I choose to build up my broken relationships. Show me who I need to live at peace with today. Give me the courage to put actions to my faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
