Search for the Truth

Search for the Truth

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.” Matthew 2:1-2 (NLT)

The wise men were searching for the newborn king (Jesus). Like the wise men, everyone is searching for something in life. People are searching for acceptance, status, love, money, hope, joy, peace, etc. But when you are searching for the truth, it’s important to remember that you must keep searching! The wise men didn’t give up in their search for Jesus and we shouldn’t give up in our pursuit of Jesus even if there are things that we don’t currently understand. In Matthew 7:7, Jesus tells us that if we seek, we will find. Use the questions below to study the verses above.
