When interacting with others we often forget that they were created in the image of God. The verse above tells us that when we serve others, we are really serving the Lord. This is important to remember especially when dealing with the people in our lives who may frustrate us. Jesus is reminding us that when we serve them, think of Him. Also, when we help those in need in the community, we are also serving the Lord. Think of a person(s) in your life where you have had a challenging relationship with them. What can you do to serve them this week? Based on what you’ve read, what will be your focus while serving them?
