All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5: 18-19 (NIV)
God sent His Son to die on the cross so we could be forgiven and have peace with Him. When Christ offered us forgiveness, it wasn’t meant just for us, it was meant for the whole world. The world deserves to know that Jesus came to give them forgiveness and set them free.
As followers of Christ, it is our mission to make sure the world hears the message of forgiveness and peace that Jesus offers. It is our duty to let others that are hurt, suffering and lost know there is an answer: Jesus. We can do this by reaching out and connecting to people wherever we go such as work, school, social events, etc. We must pray and trust that when we connect with people, God will give us the words in the moment to speak to others the message of God’s love.
