At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. Finally these men said, “We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God.” Daniel 6:4-5 (NIV)
We will be taking a closer look at these specific verses over the next couple of days. Have you ever experienced people being against you? Perhaps it was a co-worker at a previous job or maybe even a former friend. In this verse we see how certain people tried to find anything they could to remove Daniel. But the Bible tells us that “they were unable to do so”. It’s important to remember that when God is with you, there is nothing that people can do to bring you down.
