Stronger Together

Stronger Together

Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:41-42 (NIV)

The earliest followers of Jesus understood that there was power in numbers and that they were stronger together than they ever could be apart. Jesus’ disciples traveled around the world – living, learning, praying and spreading God’s love TOGETHER. God asks us to do the same thing today – to live a life that is connected and strengthened by one another.

One of the purposes of the church is for Christians to stay connected by meeting together (to fellowship and worship), but we also must go one step further and build relationships with each other outside the walls of the church. These close relationships are meant to help us stay connected, accountable and encouraged. The more we stay connected, the stronger we become together in Christ!
