We need to stop looking back. Our past served a purpose. It made us who we are today. It taught us lessons about some things to do and others things not to do. It helped us learn about good and bad relationships. But our past is not the end of our story.
We are told to press forward. There is a prize waiting for us at the end of our journey – a heavenly life with Jesus. We are called to live an overcoming life, moving beyond the struggles of the past and becoming more Christ-like. The future is bright!
