Think Big

Think Big

“God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us…” Ephesians 3:20 (MSG)

While Joseph was his father’s favorite son, he also had ten older brothers. At seventeen, he began having dreams symbolizing that his family would gather around him and bow down to him. He was criticized by his family for thinking they would bow before him (Genesis 37:1-11). Even though Joseph was young and one of the youngest brothers in his family, he wasn’t afraid of the big dreams God gave him. Joseph didn’t have to figure out how the dream God gave him would happen, he just had to be willing to dream with God. We can spend time with God dreaming the big dreams, even if they are outside our reach. Spend some time this week dreaming big.

Prayer: God, thank you for the reminder to think and dream big. I choose to dream big with you this week. Show me the big dreams you have for my life. In Jesus name. Amen.
