Growth is a natural part of life. We start as infants and grow over time into adults. But just because we grow older in years does not guarantee we will grow in other areas of life. As our example, Jesus grew in four different areas of life in His early years: wisdom, health, faith in the Father and relationships with others. We can choose to survive this life or we can thrive in life. God’s plan for us is to live a life of excellence. It is time to grow.
Prayer: God, thank you for reminding me of the plans you have for my life. I not only want to survive this life, but I want to thrive in it. Show me the areas where I need to grow. I commit to making the needed changes in my life that you show me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
