Everyone has made mistakes. Some are obvious for others to see such as lying and stealing. Others are not as easy for others to know about such as greed and pride. To God, all sin is the same no matter how big or small it would look to us. With God, sin is sin.
But God never wants to leave us in our sin. He has provided a way out through his son Jesus because He is merciful toward us. This forgiveness is not something we can earn on our own or something we deserve, but it is a free gift from God.
