Many times we hear of the importance of self-confidence and how essential it is to be confident based on your own self-perception. While it is true that having self-confidence is important, it is even more important that we focus and rely on God-Confidence. When we are confident in God and all He promises, we are able to use it as a foundation for confidence in all areas of our lives. When we are God-confident we can be certain of our ability to handle what happens in our lives, both positive and negative, and be resilient and strong in our faith.
Prayer: Lord, please help me to further my trust in you and allow me to be confident in you. Help me to find firm footing in my struggles and to use my faith as a way to stand up in the world. Lead me in ways that cultivate greater confidence in your teachings and help me to use this to grow as a person and follower of Christ. Amen.
