Whatever You Do

Whatever You Do

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NLT)

God uses religious leaders, pastors and clergy for ministry.  But religious leaders, pastors and clergy are not the only people that God will use.  God wants to use you!

You were designed by God for His mission.  You may think “I’m just a plumber, a teacher, or bus driver.  I can’t do much for God.”  When you are on the job remember that God created you to be like Jesus to those around you.  God knows your job and God wants you to be His representative in your surroundings.

Many Christians view Sundays as their “Jesus” day.  During the other 6 days we go back to our “normal lives.”  Every day we should behave like Jesus.  We are representatives of Jesus and should do what the Bible tells us.  We should talk like Jesus, act like Jesus, even type on social media like Jesus would want us to.

You are exactly where God wants you, to do the exact work that God planned for you.

Challenge:  Will you act this week and leverage what you do for God?  Will you consider your workplace where God has called you to be His representative to show love to others?
