Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT)
You can be anywhere on the planet within 24 hours. Most of us are aware of the world (continents/regions) but have no desire to go to other parts of the world. This is totally ok.
Jesus didn’t mean that everyone should travel everywhere in the world to preach the Good News of Jesus. Jesus did mean that Christians should preach the Good News of Jesus’ love wherever they are. It is no mistake that you are right where you are. God placed you here so you can reach the people in your surroundings.
Jesus was aware that there would be billions of Christians around the world. His (Jesus) call is to every believer to share the Good News right where they are. Wherever you are, do ministry.
Pray: Dear God, will you please give me eyes to see the people you have placed around me? Lord, would you give me the right words to say and help me not to say the wrong words? Lord show me how and where you are working so I can join you in ministering to others around me.
