When to Pray

When to Pray

“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NLT)

Each of us go through seasons of pressure and pain. We could have a pressing deadline at work. We could receive a bad report from the doctor. We could lose a family member or friend. We may be going through financial struggles or dealing with a difficult situation in our family. Many times these situations cause us to want to talk to someone.

God sees all that you are going through right now. He is always there to listen to your concerns. He has an open door policy and wants to hear what is weighing you down. He wants to comfort you and help you through. He wants to remind you he loves you and cares for you. You can find him in both the good and the bad times. All you have to do is pray.

Prayer: God, thank you that you know what I am going through. Thank you that you love and care for me. Help me to cast my cares on you instead of carrying the load myself. In Jesus name. Amen.
