There are times we are focused on winning the approval of people. We do and say things to keep others happy, even if we know we shouldn’t. We worry about how other people will think about us.
Trying to gain the approval of others distracts us from what God has planned for us. When we focus on pleasing God, we feel a freedom from the pressures of life. We can rest in the knowledge that God loves us for who we are and works with us to help us fulfill the destiny He has planned for us.
