Who’s in Charge?

Who’s in Charge?

Put God in charge of your work, then what you’ve planned will take place.  Proverbs 16:3 (MSG)

We were created in the image of God to be in relationship with Him (Genesis 1:27-28).  Each of us was created for a purpose.  God had a vocation in mind for us when He knit us together.  Some are made to work in business while others are made to take care of their families.  Some of us are teachers while others have mechanical abilities. Some were created to work in ministry.

When it comes to our vocation, we can choose to be in control or surrender to God’s plan.  If we surrender, it does not mean we just wait for God to do everything, but we follow His guidance as we move through our careers.  We listen for His leading and follow His plan.  When we put God in charge of our work we can accomplish all He has for us.

Prayer: God, I surrender my career to you.  I want you in charge of my work.  Show me if there is anything I need to do differently.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
