But one testified in a certain place, saying: “What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him? You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, And set him over the works of Your hands. Hebrews 2:6-7 (NKJV)
When we focus on ourselves, we tend to only see our faults and failures. We remember each time we missed the mark and didn’t measure up to our own standards or the expectations of others. We forget what God has to say or thinks about us.
God doesn’t see our failures. He sees us through the eyes of love. He sees us crowned with glory and honor. He knows how our story ends and is always there to help along the way. He has plans for our future and wants us to finish strong.
