The Israelites lived with the promise of a Savior. God already knew how things would work out even though the Israelites did not. They lived in the tension of already, not yet. We also live in the tension of already, not yet. We know the plans God has for us but we are not yet living out His full plan for us. God knows about the past, present and future. Anything you are going through, He knows how it is going to work out on your behalf. Trust in God’s plan as He guides you through a life of already, not yet.
Prayer: God, thank you that you have a plan for my life. Thank you that you know how everything I’m going through will turn out. Help me to continue to trust in your plan. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
