Mission Accepted

Mission Accepted

Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (MSG)

We have all been given a mission to talk to those we meet about God.  Jesus promised to be with us each day as we work our mission.  Many times we think we don’t have what it takes to complete the mission we have been given.  We say to ourselves, “I haven’t been trained in a bible college.  How can I help others if my life isn’t perfect?”  Your story isn’t finished yet. Even while God is working things out in you, you can help others along the way. Your story can help a single mother who doesn’t know how she is going to make it another day or a husband who is struggling with knowing how to take care of his family. Your story can help someone going through what you have already gone through. Your story can make a difference in another person’s life. Your mission is to change lives.  Do you choose to accept it?

And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Revelation 12:11 (ESV)
