…“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” Hebrews 13:5-6 (NIV)
Another reason we can be confident in God is that He will always help us. Never will He leave us, never will He forsake us. When we know God is with us and always seeking to aid us, we do not need to be afraid. We need not fear the future or the difficult times. God will stand by us through it all.
Prayer: Lord, please watch over me as I strive to remember that you are always with me and always seeking to help me. Allow me to see the work you have done in my life and to not fear the future and the unknown. I will not be afraid because you are my helper. Amen.
