Just is defined as behaving according to what is morally right and fair. God calls us to live a life that is morally right and fair. We are to treat others fairly. We are also supposed to love mercy. Mercy is defined as the compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm. When people do something to hurt us we need to show them compassion and forgiveness instead of punishing them for what they did. We can share just and merciful living generously with those around us.
Prayer: God, thank you for showing me what is good. Help me to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly before you. Show me where I need to improve. In Jesus name. Amen.
