In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. Each of us have been given a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). God calls us to not only live a life filled with faith, but to have other evidence of God in our lives. The more we grow in our faith, the more fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) we will have in our lives. Our actions will show people we are different from the world we live in. Our attitude will reflect God to those watching us. Our words will build people up instead of tear them down. Are you ready to supplement your faith?

God, thank you for reminding me that I need evidence of my relationship with you in my life. I want my life to reflect your love for the people I meet today. Send someone across my path that I can share your love with. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
