We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. Romans 3:22 (NLT)
The verse above tells us that when we place our faith in Jesus, we are made right with God. It doesn’t matter where you come from or what you’ve done in your past. This is available to everyone who believes. To be “made right with God” implies that at some point in our lives we were not right with God. As a result of sin, there was separation between God and mankind. To fix this problem, God sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, paying a debt that we could not pay. As a result, when you trust Jesus you are made right with God, not because of anything that you’ve done, but because of God’s love for you.
Think about what you’ve read. Your task for today is to share your story with someone. It could be a neighbor, family member, or a friend. Let them know how God has transformed your life. Your story has the potential to change someone’s life.
