We Have Peace with God

We Have Peace with God

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1 (NIV)

The verse above tells us that we were “justified” when we placed our faith in Jesus.  That word “justified” means that we’ve been “made right” with God.  Sin is what separates us from God.  Jesus took care of our sin problem when He died on the cross for our sins.  As a result, when we accept Christ into our life, we are made right or are now in right standing with God through Jesus.  Maybe you’ve made some big mistakes in your life.  The Good News is that our sins can be forgiven and we can be in right standing with God because of Jesus.  Have you accepted Jesus into your life?  Pray the simple prayer below to receive Jesus into your heart.  Next, use the questions below to study the verse above.

Jesus, I need you in my life. Forgive me for all my sins and mess-ups. I’m tired of doing life alone and I need your help. Come into my heart and be Lord over my life. I believe in my heart that you are Lord, that you died for my sins, and that you rose from the dead. Thank you, Lord, for forgiving me and saving me. AMEN
