I Believe, Now What?

I Believe, Now What?

Every person who has accepted Jesus into their life should be baptized.

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12 (NLT)

Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all. Acts 2:41 (NLT)

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” Romans 1:16 (NKJV)

Note the steps in the verses above:  Believe and Accept Jesus à Become a Child of God à Be Baptized.

Baptism doesn’t give you salvation.  Baptism announces to the world that you have salvation because of faith in Jesus.

Anyone who has faith in Jesus as their Savior should go public in Believer’s Baptism.

You might be thinking “I was baptized as a baby, isn’t that enough?”  While baptism as a baby is a beautiful statement of your parents’ faith to raise you with a commitment to Christ, Believer’s Baptism is different.   Believers take the step of baptism as their own proclamation of faith saying, “I believe for myself that I am saved through faith in Christ Jesus.”

If you believe, if you personally accept the gift of salvation that Jesus offers through faith, and you have not been baptized… now is your time!

July 29th can be your special day to make your announcement that you are ALL IN with Christ.

What’s holding you back?  Just sign up here and get on the list to be baptized.

You will be so glad you did!
